Attending the mental performance sessions at BAL 4 HER 2025 was a turning point for my coaching approach. The segment on smart goals gave me a practical framework I could immediately apply with my team. We learned to break down long-term objectives into specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound actions, and I saw players buy in faster because the milestones were clear and visible. The accountability checks helped us stay consistent, and the focus on process goals alongside outcome goals kept the team resilient during tough stretches. Our practice plans became sharper, and the players started taking ownership of their development path.
